Sanders and Clinton continue to dominate the presidential primary race.
Now the race will be decided in the most populous state in the country.
California is home to over 10 million registered voters.
The race for the Democratic nomination is now being watched closely by Democrats nationwide.
Clinton and Sanders are currently battling for the support of California’s Democratic Party leadership.
Sanders has won endorsements from some of the party’s top figures.
The Democratic National Committee is trying to secure endorsements from state party leaders, but many party officials are skeptical about Sanders and his platform.
Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez has been urging state party officials to endorse Clinton.
Sanders is also challenging former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, who endorsed Sanders.
The homeless shelter in Iowa has a $1 million dollar donation in its coffers.
The Shelters and Referral Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
“It’s our job to help people with physical and mental health challenges, as well as those who are living in poverty,” said Shelters & Referral Coordinator, Karen D. Hegarty.
“The Shelter and Referrer Center is dedicated to providing assistance to homeless people, including individuals living in shelters and transitional housing, as we work to improve their lives.”
The shelter has about 150 beds for people in need.
Hegarty said they are doing everything they can to get the money to the shelter, including donating to the American Red Cross and donating to charity.
He said the money will be used to help keep the shelter operational and to hire staff.
He said if you are looking for a place to stay, you can contact them here or donate here.
