The American Red Cross has teamed up with the Texas Red Cross for a new program called The Red Cross Clothing Donation Center in Houston, Texas.
The Red Cross will be donating more than $100,000 worth of clothing to Houston Veterans Home.
The Red Crew has been running this program for years in conjunction with Texas Veterans Home to help people in need.
“We really appreciate the Red Cross’ support of our efforts to bring awareness and donations to Houston,” said Tami Noll, director of marketing and public relations at the Red Crew.
“The Red Crew is committed to helping Houston veterans and their families with the items they need and the help they need in this critical time.”
“This program has the potential to be a model for others in our state,” said Donna Tompkins, executive director of Texas Veterans Homes.
“It is an excellent way for Texas to work with local businesses to make a difference in the lives of those in need.”
“We are extremely pleased that the Red Bull Foundation will be partnering with the Red Blood Foundation for this program,” said Bill Rader, CEO of the Red Sox Foundation.
“Red Bull has been committed to supporting charities and their work in Houston and beyond for years.
This is another great example of their commitment to supporting the local businesses in Houston that need our help.
Red Bull will be working with our partners to provide the resources they need to ensure this important work is done safely and securely.”
The Red Blood donated $100 million to the Red Wing, Red Cross, and Red Cross Home for Operation Heartland in the Houston area.
This program was launched in 2014 and the Red Wings are committed to help those in Houston who are in need of help.
